Description:

Ray Anderson began making spurs in the 1970s, numbering each pair starting at "1". It is estimated that he made just over 1,500 pairs during his career, making them quite collectible. Swinging buttons on the gal-leg heel bands. The heel bands and gal-leg shanks are double mounted with engraved silver and copper and have toothed rowels. The Bob Marrs tooled leather straps show floral patterns. Heel band width: 7/8" (at widest) Shanks: 2 1/8" Rowel diameter: 1 1/2" Heel opening: 3 1/8".

Rating Definition:

Very fine, showing mostly bright finish and mountings with some scattered light oxidation and wear. The leather straps are also very fine with very minimal wear.
