Manufactured in 1929, this rifle has been period outfitted for target shooting, including the installation of a "H.M. POPE" marked barrel. A set of casehardened scope blocks have been installed on the receiver and barrel, the latter having two additional sets of holes drilled and tapped, one ahead of the block, the other back on the chamber, and the former having a set of holes for a peep sight on the right side. The bolt is marked "NS" on top, and the receiver markings are standard. Fitted with a fancy checkered walnut pistol grip stock, with a front sling swivel, raised shadow-line cheekpiece, and a checkered naked butt.

Very fine as period custom built for target shooting, with 90% of the parkerized/blue finish, showing some light handling marks and a few areas of spotting. The stock is also very fine, with some light dents and scuffs overall, and a tiny crack near the magazine switch. Mechanically excellent.
