Manufactured in 1976 with the standard Winchester address along with model and caliber designation on the left side of the barrel. Ramped beaded blade front and three-leaf express rear sight with standing leaf marked for 100 yards and the folding leaves marked for 200 and 300 yards. The barrel shows multiple gold band inlays and borders on the sights with floral engraving at the breech and behind the rear sight. Extensive floral scroll engraving and gold inlaid borders on the receiver and floorplate with a high relief cape buffalo bust on top of the receiver ring and an African bull elephant bust on the floorplate. Mounted with a finely figured, checkered, pistol grip stock with white line accented ebony forend, pistol grip cap with engraved silver insert, and red vented rubber Pachmayr recoil pad.

Excellent as professionally embellished, retains 98% plus blue finish and gold inlay with a few scattered light handling marks, mainly on the bottom of the barrel. The wood is very fine with some scattered light handling marks, a couple areas showing light polish over a few natural blemishes in the wood grain, and sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent.
