Both manufactured in 1978 and subsequently returned to the factory for embellishment. Factory engraved (not noted on label but believed to be the case) with about 75% coverage floral scroll on a punchdot background, some geometric patterns, and an animal head on with side of the hammer. Both guns are signed "DT" for Master Engraver Denise Thirion on the left side of the frame near the patent markings. The boxes confirms the extended grips and grip material. Consecutively serialized to the to the other gun in the lot. Includes a Custom Shop box labelled to the gun and a Colt Blue box.

Exceptionally fine as factory embellished by Master Engraver Denise Thirion, retaining 99% of the nickel finish with limited handling evidence. Mechanically excellent. The grips are excellent. The Blue box is also excellent.
