Description:

Manufactured circa 1980s-2000s by Randy Butters of Homer, Michigan, who was named "Spur Maker of the Year" in 2005. They are marked with Butters' mark on the medial arm of each heel band. They have swinging buttons and are double mounted with engraved silver and copper including steer skull caps on the medial arms, geometric panels on the lateral arms, and panels on the short shanks with chap guards that end in toothed rowels. The Bob Marrs tooled leather straps show a floral patterns and steer heads and have embellished buckles made by Butters. Heel band width: 1" Shanks: 1 7/8" Rowel diameter: 1 1/4" Heel opening: 3 5/16".

Rating Definition:

Very fine overall, showing most of the original brown finish and bright mountings with very minimal handling marks and wear.
