Half-moon front and round-top notch sights and rear serrations on the slide, with the two-line, two-block address and patent dates on the left side ahead of the Rampant Colt, the caliber markings on the right and a matching number on the underside. Fitted with a casehardened spur hammer, royal blue small parts, military configuration slide stop, lanyard swivel, extended grip frame, and a full blue magazine. With a matching numbered and properly labeled Colt "black box", barrel brush, and instruction sheet.

Excellent, with 97% plus original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear (concentrated at the leading edges of the slide), along with some light handling marks. 98% vivid original case colors remain on the hammer, with a small amount of rubbing on the trigger sides. The grips are excellent, with a few light dings. The box is fair, with a detached lid, edge tearing, and scuffing and staining appropriate to age. Mechanically excellent. A top-notch early production Colt semi-auto in a condition that would be difficult to beat.
