"Crown/ V" and "crown/ GP" London proofs are present on the underside of the barrel and between the chambers on the cylinders. Matching partial serial number on the rear cylinder face, full matching numbers on the inside of the grips and matching "236" assembly numbers on the loading gate and the left side of the butt. Grips are checkered hardwood, with smooth wedges at the bottom and a lanyard swivel on the butt.

Rating Definition:

Very good plus. Strong original blue remains in the protected areas, with a mixed brown patina showing on most of the surface, scattered spotting and mild handling marks. Strong niter blue is visible on the hammer and trigger, mixed with a gray patina and minor spotting. Grips are very good, with crisp checkering and traces of varnish. Mechanically fine.
