Description:

Manufactured in March of 1942. The barrel, in addition to the original Springfield "3-42" markings is also Birmingham proofed with tonnage and bore diameter markings. Blade front and peep rear sights, with "flat" battle range adjustment drums, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and an uncut operating rod. The stock is "P" and "S.A./G.H.S." marked, with a checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing some bright edge/cycling wear along with mild handling marks. The stock is good, with the handguard replaced, a large crack running through the wrist with a visible repair on the grip, and a number of dents and scuffs. Mechanically excellent.
