Description:

Manufactured in January of 1944. The barrel is marked "3-S-A-8 44". Blade front and peep rear sights, with "flat" battle range elevation drum, locking bar on the windage drum, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and an uncut replacement operating rod (darker shade of parkerized finish) refinished gas cylinder assembly. The stock is double struck, restamped "P" and "S.A./G.A.W." marked, with a brown leather sling, and checkered steel buttplate. Butt trap contains grease pot, oiler, and multi-tool. Includes canvas muzzle cover.

Rating Definition:

Fine as converted back to World War II configuration. 90% green parkerized finish remains with areas of mild edge wear, small dings on the gas cylinder, and handling marks. The wood is also excellent with clear cartouches and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
