Blade front and "J.A.O." marked adjustable rear sights with an "(illegible)-44) dated Underwood barrel, Type II barrel band, flat bolt, "SG" (no dots or apostrophes) marked receiver, milled trigger guard, flip safety and M2 pattern magazine catch. Low wood stock with a 4-rivet handguard, spurious "S.G." and Ordinance cartouche on right buttstock, "RSG/J (crossed cannons)" in the sling cut, oval oiler cut, and a green canvas sling. Includes one unmarked short magazine and a modern "US" marked tan canvas padded carbine case with leather fittings.

Very fine, with 98% of the arsenal quality refurbished parkerized finish, showing some light rubbing midway up the barrel ,edge wear and mild handling marks. The stock is very good, with a tiny spot of filler on the left side near the receiver and some light dents and handling marks. The reproduction case is near mint, with some minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
