Manufactured in 1918. The barrel is marked "R/flaming bomb/6-18" with blade front and adjustable ladder and peep rear sights, standard receiver markings with double "eagle head" proofs on top of the left receiver rail, and a single "flaming bomb" proof on the side. With a "R" and "flaming bomb" marked bolt. Smooth pistol grip stock with "R" marking at the nose, finger grooves, "eagle head/339" proof ahead of the floorplate, no other visible markings, and smooth trapdoor buttplate. With "1917" dated Remington bayonet, leather sheath, and canvas web sling.

Very fine. 95% original blue finish remains with clear markings, traces of light spotting, minor edge wear, and handling marks. The stock is fine as lightly sanded and refinished with slightly shallow finger grooves and some small dings. Mechanically excellent. Bayonet is also very fine.
