Manufactured after World War II. Blade front and peep rear sights with "WH/S.A." windage and "WC E" elevation drums. The Springfield barrel is dated "3 56", with "T", "P" and "eagle" stamps. Fitted with a Springfield bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and relief cut operating rod. Smooth pistol grip stock with "DoD Eagle" and "P" stamps, and a checkered steel buttplate.

Excellent, with 95% of the original parkerized finish, showing some bright edge/cycling wear and mild handling marks. The stock is very fine, with a number of scattered dings and dents. Mechanically excellent.
