Manufactured in the early 20th Century by one of the most desirable Western spur makers, Kelly Bros. The company was started by P.M. Kelly, who made his first pair of spurs in 1903. This pair are marked "KELLY/BROS" near each of the lateral buttons. The heel bands have swinging buttons and are single mounted with lightly engraved silver scroll patterns. Drop Shanks with chap guards single mounted with lightly engraved silver and ending in spoked rowels. With basket weave pattern tooled leather straps. Heel band width: 3/4" Shanks: 2 1/2" Rowel diameter: 1 3/4" Heel opening: 3 1/8".

Very good, showing mostly a smooth brown patina and mostly bright silver mountings with some scattered light oxidation and mild wear. The leather straps are fine with mild wear and some verdigris on the buckles.
