Description:

Manufactured in January of 1944. The barrel is marked "2-S-A-1 44". Blade front and peep rear sights, with "flat" battle range adjustment drums, "SA" bolt, trigger housing, hammer, safety, and an uncut operating rod. The stock is "P" and "S.A./G.A.W." marked, with a brown leather sling, checkered steel buttplate, and the numbers "14" and "125" between the sling and the buttstock, the former on a metal plate, the latter stamped into the wood.

Rating Definition:

Very good, with 60% of the thin parkerized finish, showing bright edge wear, areas of gray patina, and mild handling marks. The gas cylinder retains around half the black finish, with areas of bright metal visible, The stock is fair, with a crack in the handguard, a hairline crack on top of the wrist, and a number of scuffs, dents and chips. Mechanically excellent.
