Constructed from tan canvas, with a few areas of leather reinforcement, thin rubberized canvas tool pouch flaps, and thicker rubberized canvas mag pouch flaps, this pouch set is designed to carry six Sturmgewehr magazines, divided between the left and right sides of the body, with pouches for additional small tools (not included). A shoulder strap permanently connects the pouches, with a set of canvas belt loops on each side and "D" rings for mounting more traditional load-bearing straps. No maker's marks are present on the pouches. Six magazines are included, blue finished with mixed "MP43", "MP44" and "MP43/MP44" markings on the left side of the body and mixed maker's marks. Formerly of the George Petersen Collection, this pouch set is featured on page 130 of The German Assault Rifle:1935-1945 by Senich.

Very fine overall, with some light wear and stains on the pouches and some mild spotting on the magazines. A rare accessory for the Sturmgewehr assault rifle.
