The cap is of the 1942 pattern, feldgrau wool construction with a one-piece trapezoidal eagle/cockade patch, two gray painted buttons on the functional ear flaps, and a gray rayon inner lining ink stamped "CHRISTIAN HAUG/MUTZENFABRIK/BERLIN NO 16/HOCHSTE STRASSE 20/1943/55" inside the crown. The shirt is gray/green cloth, with no visible makers marks and a full set of pressed board buttons. No provision for mounting shoulder straps, badges, or other decoration is present. The trousers are feldgrau wool, with a set of cloth ties at the ankles, green plastic buttons and twill pockets and waistband lining. The left rear of the waist is marked "117" over "86/116" and "92/106".

Very good to excellent overall, with mild wear and stains. Moderate sweat staining is present inside the cap, and the buttons and button thread on the shirt.
