Description:

Manufactured in the early 20th Century by one of the most desirable Western spur makers, Kelly Bros. The company was started by P.M. Kelly, who made his first pair of spurs in 1903. The pair are marked "KELLY/BROS" near the lateral buttons. The heel bands are double mounted with lightly engraved silver diamond patterns and feature straight shanks ending in large spoked rowels. With tack decorated leather straps with large engraved conchos. Heel band width: 7/8" Shanks: 2 1/8" Rowel diameter: 2 3/8" Heel opening: 3 3/16".

Rating Definition:

Very good, showing mostly a smooth brown patina and bright silver mountings with some scattered light oxidation and some minor pitting on the rowels. The leather straps are fine with some moderate wear.
