Blade front and 500 meter tangent rear sights, an external extractor, stacked matching serial numbers on the right side of the barrel, slide and frame, and the crossed swords and jambiya seal of the Sultanate of Oman on the right side of the slide. This is one of allegedly 36 pistols roll engraved with the Omani crest. According to an FN expert, "The first nine pistols were roll marked with an error in the crest, the consequent 27 pistols had the correct crest," and "there is no indication that these pistols were ever in or used by Oman"; instead, these pistols were sales samples used in an attempt to secure a contract. This example has a correct crest (the scabbard of the dagger points to the left). The back strap is properly slotted for a shoulder stock, and it has a pair of checkered plastic grips. With an unnumbered hardwood board stock with a brown leather flap holster secured with brass rivets, a Fabrique Nationale box hand-numbered to match, English-language instruction sheet, cleaning rod and extra magazine. Among the included paperwork is a photocopy of a 1983 dated ATF letter verifying the shoulder-stocked Muscat & Oman High Power is on the C&R list as acceptable, as well as receipts documenting this pistol by serial number to the collection of William Drollinger.

Near new in box, with 99% plus original blue finish, showing some minor edge wear and handling marks. The grips are in equal condition. The fine box shows some light edge wear and stains, and the excellent stock shows minor handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
