Description:

Purportedly one of only 85 built in this configuration. Bead sight on a nicely matted vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, automatic ejectors, and modified(**)/improved cylinder(**-) chokes. Elaborately engraved satin gray receiver with detailed game scenes on either side. Four ducks on the right with two taking off, one landing, and one floating on the water's surface. The left has five pheasants, two are nesting, two are standing, and one is in flight. Two quail in flight on the underside with two rabbits on the trigger guard. All of the scenes are surrounded by deep semi-relief scroll engraving of detailed forest environments. The left side is signed "ABEE" while he was still employed at FN. Nicely figured checkered walnut forearm with matching engraved fittings and stock. The included factory letter confirms the grade, gauge, and barrel length, but lists the chokes as improved modified and modified. It also states that the gun was sold on February 3. 1976 to Buckhorn Trading Post in Dallas, TX. The original box is also included. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retaining 99% plus original finishes with limited handling evidence. The stock is very fine with a few light scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The box is fine with moderate wear.
