The included factory letter confirms the current configuration, "anglaise-pigeon" grade, and lists the shotgun by serial number (listed as "32733S74"). The letter states that only one prototype and five samples of this grade were manufactured world wide, and that the game scenes on this example were engraved by Mr. Bodson and the ornamentation done by Mr. Dujardin, who signed near the trigger. The coin finished receiver shows extensive and masterfully executed English scroll engraving as well as pigeon scenes on either side and the bottom. Single bead sight on the matted vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chambers, and chokes marked improved modified/improved cylinder. Mounted with a finely figured multi-point checkered forearm and straight grip, perch-belly stock with initial plaque marked with monogrammed initials "C. J. W. II" and a horn buttplate. Length of pull is 15 inches. Includes a leather bound case retailer marked to E.J. Binet et Fils S.A., firearm providers of the court of Belgium. Inside the lid of the case is a presentation plaque to Charlie Webb from various associates. Also included is an FN-Browning certificate of identification.

Excellent, retains 99% original finishes with a few light handling marks and some light takedown marks. The wood is very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches and crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. The case is good with minor handling/storage wear and a blemish on the lid from plaque removal.
