Manufactured in 1903. Single brass bead sight on solid rib barrel marked "HUNTER ARMS. CO FULTON. N.Y" just forward the breech. The chokes are extra full. The chambers are 2-9/16. The frame is engraved with loose spirals and spare scrollwork continuing throughout frame with some light decoration on most component parts. The right panel depicts a waterfowl scene with two flying ducks while the left shows two quail perched on a hill, both side plates are marked "L.C. SMITH". Other features include tang safety and double triggers. Finished with a fine oiled walnut deluxe checkered forearm and pistol grip stock with plastic end cap and "Hawkins" large rubber recoil pad.

Very fine overall. The barrel retains 90% original finish with scattered scratches and dings showing some thinning throughout. The frame retains 60% of the original deep case colors with the remaining a gray patina. The wood is fine. There is a small crack on the top of stock near the butt and scattered scratches and pressure dents throughout. Mechanically excellent. Provenance: TLC Collection.
