Introduced in 1887 with this example having a special order spur trigger guard as commonly observed on Russian Models. Fitted with a pinned replacement front sight, an adjustable square notch rear sight, 1 7/16 inch cylinder, barrel rib with the one-line address, and wonderful period checkered extended grips. Matching serial numbers are on the butt, barrel and barrel latch.

Excellent, retaining 90% plus original nickel finish on the barrel and frame showing scattered areas of flaking on the balance. 90% original case colors remain on the hammer, and traces of original case colors remain on the special order trigger guard. The refinished cylinder is unnumbered. The grips are very good with a minor surface chip (right panel), some typical age cracking, some minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall.
