This brown molded gutta percha cased cribbage board dates to the mid-19th century and contains four brass pegs. The exterior of the case features a floral border with differing oval panel motifs: four playing cards on top and diamond on the bottom. The inside of the lid is lined in purple velvet.

Fine, showing scattered handling/storage marks on the exterior and some wear to the lining. Overall an attractive piece of 19th century entertainment. Provenance: Dr. Gerald Klaz collection.
