Around 1,900 Remington-Beals Army revolvers were manufactured from 1861-1862, only approximately half of which were purchased by the Army. The top barrel flat has the two-line 1858 patent date/address marking. Small letter inspection marks are stamped on most of the major components. The barrel, cylinder, trigger guard, and grip frame are all matching, the grips are faintly numbered, possibly matching. "CGC" cartouche is on the left grip panel and "W.A.T." on the right.

Rating Definition:

Good, showing a smooth brown patina overall, some scattered oxidation, and some dings and scratches on the grips with legible cartouches. Mechanically very good.
