These Joslyn carbines are known to have been issued to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th Ohio Cavalry regiments in limited numbers. It has the standard markings and features but no visible cartouches.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retains 75% original blue finish and attractively aged darkened patina visible on the brass with the balance a smooth grey patina. The revarnished wood is very good with numerous scattered minor dings and scratches throughout, a hairline crack in the wrist, and a repair in the toe. Mechanically excellent.
