Manufactured in 1919. The accompanying letter from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms lists this carbine as being removed from the purview of the National Firearms Act and classified as a curio and relic (barrel listed as 14 1/16 inches). Besides the desirable 14 inch barrel, this carbine has standard Winchester markings including the factory oval proofs, carbine style sights and stock and saddle ring on the left side of the receiver. "PS" (unknown significance) is stamped on the left side of the stock.

Very good, retaining 20% of the original blue finish (mostly in the protected areas on the barrel and magazine), otherwise a smooth gray patina mixed with pitting. The wood is good with numerous minor dings and scratches throughout. Mechanically excellent.
