High wall muskets in 22 short caliber are scarce relative to the low walls. Receiver manufactured after 1913 with standard markings including Winchester oval proofs on the barrel and action. Dovetail blade front sight and elevation adjustable folding ladder rear sight graduated from 1 to 4 on the left side of the base and marked "B" and graduated from 1 to 20 on the ladder. Standard musket style finger groove forearm and straight grip stock with carbine style buttplate.

Very fine, retains 80% blue on the barrel and 40% blue on the action with the balance a smooth grey patina. The wood is also very fine with some scattered minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
