Description:

Only around 1,500 Perry Patent Arms Co. breech loading firearms are believed to have been manufactured in the mid to late 1850s in a variety of configurations including pistols. It has a brass blade front sight, adjustable rear sight, matching serial numbers at the breech, "PERRY PATENT ARM/NEWARK, N.J." on the breechblock, cap magazine in the butt, and smooth stock and forearm.

Rating Definition:

Fair with mottled gray patina, moderate pitting, and general scrapes and dings. The stock is also fair and has some chips, scrapes, dings, and minor cracks. The hammer screw and lower buttplate screw are absent. Mechanically inoperable.
