The barrels are inscribed "LONDON" in an engraved flat and have London proofs to the left, and the locks are signed "RICHARDS" and have border and floral engraving. The furniture is all silver in coloration but has no visible hallmarks and may be another white metal alloy such as paktong. The side plates are a triple "C" scroll pattern. The trigger guards have acorn finials and, floral engraved bows. The wrist escutcheons have scroll and shell finials, and the pommel caps are classic grotesque masks. The stocks are smooth aside from raised shell carving at the barrel tang.

Good with light pitting and gray patina along the otherwise bright barrel and lock, light aged patina on the mounts, slight gaps around some of the mortises, distinct markings and engraving, and minor dings and scratches on the reoiled wood. Mechanically fine.
