Description:

Features a post-1813 Birmingham proofed barrel with approximately 12 gauge bore that flares to about 1 1/4 inches at the muzzle, scroll engraved lock, German silver barrel key escutcheons and thumb piece, checkered wrist, and iron furniture.

Rating Definition:

Fine with mostly applied brown finish and mild pitting throughout, some surface oxidation, converted lock with some cold blue and crisp engraving, faded engraving on most of the other components, cracked rear escutcheon on the right, a few repaired cracks and chips in the stock, mostly crisp checkering, general dings and scratches, and general mild to moderate wear. Mechanically fine.
