Description:

Manufactured in 1861 with standard markings and features, including matching serial numbers (loading lever blank and faintly marked on the grip). The case is fitted to the gun and contains a cap tin, Colt patent eagle powder flask, Colt patent dual cavity bullet mold, and several balls/bullets.

Rating Definition:

Fine with 60% plus original blue finish remaining and concentrated on the barrel, traces of original silver plating (under the grip), aged patina on the exposed brass, smooth gray and brown patina on most of the balance, and some minor pitting. The grip is very fine and has some minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. The relined case and refinished accessories are fair with mild age and storage related wear.
