It has a globe front sight, "squirrel ear" modern made replacement, adjustable notch rear sight, adjustable folding peep sight, and standard markings.

Rating Definition:

Good with light original brown finish mixed with mottled brown patina on the barrel, bright original case colors on the lever, mottled gray patina on the lock and frame, traces of the period refinished blue on the patch box and trigger plate, mild pitting, and general mild wear. The buttstock is very good and has chipping around the lock mortise, stable crack in the wrist on the left, and general scrapes and dings. The forend is refinished with filled in repair at frame juncture. Mechanically fine.
