Description:

The Model 1819 Hall was the first widely issued military breech loading firearm and the first firearm manufactured with totally interchangeable parts. This one is dated "1834" and has been converted to percussion. It otherwise has the standard markings and features. Includes a socket bayonet.

Rating Definition:

Fine as arsenal converted and refinished with 75% of the brown lacquer and strong heat case colors, minor oxidation, and light marks and scratches. The stock is fine with some hairline cracks in the butt, scattered scrapes and minor dents, and some slight chips. The bayonet is very good and has mottled gray patina and light pitting. Mechanically excellent.
