Description:

One of only 1,000 or less Model 1826 pistols manufactured by W.L. Evans of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania, c. 1830-31. They are almost identical to the Simeon North Model 1826 pistols manufactured c. 1826-1829. It has blade and "dished" sights, standard proof and view markings, "US/W.L. EVANS" at the center of the lock and "1830" at the tail, a swivel mounted ramrod, and a belt hook. Removable collection mark on the trigger guard.

Rating Definition:

Good as reconverted to flintlock configuration, showing mostly bright grey patina with some patches of mild pitting. The wood is very good with scattered minor dings and scratches throughout, a hairline crack, and faint cartouche. Mechanically excellent.
