The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 6 1/2 inch barrel in .44 S&W Russian caliber, long strap cylinder, blue finish, and checkered hard rubber grips when shipped on November 20, 1905 to E.K. Tryon Co., Philadelphia, PA. Matching serial numbers on butt, right grip panel, cylinder, barrel latch, and barrel.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 80% plus original blue finish on the barrel and frame, the cylinder a mixed blue-brown patina with strong amounts of finish in the flutes. Good amount of original case colors remain on the trigger and hammer. The grips are also fine with scattered handling marks and wear along the top of the checkering. Mechanically excellent. A rare caliber marked long strap variation of the .44 DA series.
