The frame dates to 1890 and has the three-line patent dates marking followed by "U.S." on the left side. This revolver has mixed numbers and components typical of the Artillery variants. "RAC" inspector initials are on the barrel, frame and grip. The right side of the grip has a script letter cartouche.
Fine, retaining 40% arsenal refurbished blue finish and 20% case colors with the balance a mixture of smooth brown and gray patinas. Modified front sight with square priced in gold top blade. The grip is also fine showing high edge wear and some minor-moderate handling marks. The cartouche is legible. Mechanically excellent.
