Description:

The accompanying factory letter lists this revolver with a 4 3/4 inch barrel in .32-20 caliber, blue finish and type of stocks not listed when sold to Stauffer Eshleman & Co. of New Orleans, LA, and shipped to Petmecky Co. of Austin, TX, on January 5, 1916. Standard Colt markings and matching numbers on the frame, trigger guard, back strap and both grip panels.

Rating Definition:

Fine, retaining 40% original blue finish and 30% of original case colors in the protected areas with the balance a smooth brown gray patina. The grips are very good with a couple missing small chips and some wear in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
