Manufactured in 1893 by Steyr and soon thereafter sent to England where it was upgraded by W. R. Lesson at his London shop. Two folding and one standing leaf rear sight with English proofs on the barrel and receiver. Barrel marked "W.R.LEESON.ASHFORD.KENT.&.29.MADDOX ST.LONDON.W." and "1778" on the bottom of the trigger guard.

Very fine overall as period upgraded, showing 95% plus finish, scattered light oxidation, light handling evidence, and lightly worn grip checkering on the otherwise very fine wood. Mechanically excellent.
