Manufactured in 1946. Scarce 22 Short caliber octagon barrel with dovetailed front sight with silver bead and sporting rear sight. Standard left barrel flat markings followed by ".22 SHORT". Has a 3/4 length tube magazine, 17 groove forearm and smooth pistol grip stock with checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine. The rifle retains 80% of the original blue with the beginning of a smooth brown patina strongest on the barrel, gray on the high edges, some minor pitting and some moderate spotting. There are a few patches of smooth grey patina on the left side of barrel. The wood is fine as freshened and has some minor dings and scratches, with most of the varnish remaining. Mechanically excellent.
