The serial number "3" is marked on the top of the receiver as a fancy scroll character. Beautiful floral scroll engraving on the barrel at the muzzle and breech, on the receiver, and the bolt. Gold bands at the muzzle, front of the receiver, and on the bolt. Mounted on a nicely figured walnut pistol grip stock.

Very fine overall, showing minor handling evidence, scattered tiny blemishes, a few scratches in the wood, and crisp stock checkering. Firing pin does not drop when trigger is pulled, otherwise mechanically fine.
