The casehardened box lock action is elaborately engraved with fine floral bouquet and scroll patterns with relief carved fences with side clips. The action also features matching engraved side plates with unique three position left side safety/selector lever, and single trigger marked "JAEGER PATENT/31". Finely checkered splinter forearm with engraved fittings and Anson style latch and straight grip buttstock with initial plate inscribed with an elaborate monogram and solid Decelerator recoil pad. Length of pull is 14 inches. With cloth covered Francotte takedown case with leather straps and corner protectors.

Excellent. The barrels have 99% original blue finish with crisp markings and just a few light handling marks. The receiver and side plates have 90% original case colors with some light graying around the edges and sharp engraving. The wood is also excellent with crisp checkering and just a few very small dings. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with some storage marks.
