Description:

Blade front sight, "C" marked folding ladder rear sight, knurled "headless" cocking knob, "1901" dated cartouche, and small oiler in the stock.

Rating Definition:

Fine overall with 40% of the original blue finish, hints of brown and gray patina on the barrel, mild spotting concentrated on the bolt, a fine dark pattern on the receiver and magazine, a mixed blue and gray on the buttplate overall along with some scuffs and dents, a number of light chips and dents in the stock along with thin cracks around the magazine, and an unidentified yellow residue on the front right corner of the upper handguard. Mechanically excellent.
