This fine shotgun has a bead front sight, "WILLIAM BRIGGS NORRISTOWN. PA." on top of the barrel accented by engraved lines, "WILLIAM BRIGGS" on the lock, scroll engraving, mostly brass furniture, and checkered wrist.

Rating Definition:

Very good with mostly gray patina on the lock and barrel, patches of moderate pitting, aged patina on the furniture, distinct markings and engraving, and general mild overall wear. The ramrod ferrules and bottom barrel rib have been resoldered to bottom of barrel. The stock is also very good and has crisp checkering, smooth oiled finish, and minor dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent.
