Manufactured in 1943. Blade and flat top notch sights, the "USS" monogram and "U.S. & S. Co./SWISSVALE, PA. U.S.A." on the left side of the slide, with a Robert Downie "R.C.D." inspected frame, thin checkered hammer, short stamped trigger, long grip safety, arched checkered mainspring housing, reinforced Keyes Fiber grips, full blue "S" marked magazine and "HS" marked High Standard barrel. With "US" embossed leather holster marked "BOYT/44" on the back. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Excellent. 95% original Du-Lite finish remains with scattered light spotting/blemishes on the front grip strap and some light edge wear. The grips are very fine with some dings in the otherwise sharp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Holster is excellent with tight stitching, some verdigris build up around rivets, and a few small scuffs.
