Description:

Hooded blade front and ladder rear sights, with the barrel marked "R.I.A./ordnance bomb/7-13" on top, "C88/P" on the underside, and the bottom of the trigger guard assembly marked with an "ordnance bomb/N.R.A." stamp. The bolt is unnumbered. Fitted with a smooth straight wrist stock, with "S" on the tip, a circled script "P" on the underside of the wrist, a "C.W./1913" cartouche on the left side, a brown leather "L-F CO/1918/P.T." sling and a finely checkered steel buttplate.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, showing 80% of the mostly original blue, with some mild edge wear and light handling marks overall. The receiver shows a dark, mixed gray color, with the right rear side showing two professionally filled-in and refinished holes for peep sight mounting. The stock is also very fine, with some mild dings and handling marks. Mechanically excellent.
