British proofs present on the right of barrel at the breech. Includes a "1942" dated U.S. bayonet with scabbard and a cleaning kit in butt (stuck). Collector's marking "JF/252" in white on bottom of the trigger guard.

Very fine, retaining 85% plus original finish and moderate handling evidence. The stock is very good with the "crossed cannons" faded, the other markings crisp, and mild spotting and dents. Mechanically excellent.

"4-42" dated Springfield barrel, a "S.A./JFC" cartouche on a straight grip stock, "RI" on the forearm tip, and double stamped "circle P" marks on the bottom of the wrist. Includes a cleaning kit in the butt. Marked "JF/301" in white on bottom of the trigger guard.
