Very fine. 95% plus arsenal dark parkerized finish remains with some light edge wear and handling marks overall. Stock is also very fine with some small dings, and a few small chips around the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.

Hooded blade front and adjustable Lyman rear peep sights, barrel marked "SA/flaming bomb/11-25", and standard receiver markings. The additional "I" after "M1" and the "B" suffix on the serial number indicate that the rifle was modified to M2 configuration during the late 1930s. The arsenal polished bolt has an M2 cocking piece and is marked "NS" on the top of the handle and "M2" on the body. The rifle has an M2 stock with grasping grooves, and heavy checkered buttplate with no trap. With an "M2" marked magazine. There is a small removable collection marking on the trigger guard.

Fine as arsenal refurbished and updated to M2 specifications with 95% current dark green parkerized finish, some light edge wear, and handling marks. The sanded, reoiled stock is very good with faint finger grooves, some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
