Description:

Blade front and adjustable "J.A.O." rear sights, with an "8-44" dated Inland barrel and a Type II barrel band. Round bolt, milled trigger housing, unmarked button safety and a "SI" bolt catch. The main stock body is of the two-rivet, low wood configuration, with "crossed cannons" on the right side of the grip, "RI/8" on the butt, steel rivets securing the leather cheekpiece, and a swiveling spring-loaded buttplate with proper casting marks. Magazine is absent.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 90% of the original parkerized finish, showing a few areas of gray patina, light high edge and cycling wear, and some light handling marks. The stock is fine, with a crack on the left side of the stock coming from the top hinge, and some light dents and scuffs on the wood and mild spotting on the buttstock and plate. Mechanically excellent.
