According to the included factory letter, this pistol was part of a 25-piece group shipped to Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Company of Chicago, Illinois, on October 24, 1913. With the exception of the "Not Listed" grips, the major features are confirmed. Fixed sights, with casehardened trigger and safeties and a set of pearl grips. The replacement slide's last three digits are "048".

Very fine as assembled (mixed numbered slide), with 80% of the high polish blue finish, showing some bright edge wear, mild spotting and handling marks. The grips are good, with minor cracking around the screw and a few light scuffs. Mechanically very good.
