This pistol was produced under a Navy contract by the Tokyo Gas & Electric Company, with approximately 5000 of these pistols being produced before production changed to the later standard Type 14 model. The right side of the receiver shows the naval anchor marking followed by the three-character "nam-bu-shiki" mark, with "3126" below both. The left of the receiver is marked with the two-character "riku-shiki" marking, and the top of the chamber area has the Tokyo Gas & Electric logo. Includes a leather holster and an incorrect extra Type 14 magazine numbered "898".

Fine, retains 40% original blue finish with some edge wear, a few small patches of light pitting, and some scattered spotting. The grips are very good with some minor handling marks, areas of flattened checkering, but most of the checkering well-defined. The holster is fine with moderate wear.
